I want to share with you my thoughts on language

For me, a language is a living organism that develops together with the community of people who speak it. One and the same language is often a mother tongue for people of different nationalities, different cultures. Language develops together with society, absorbs new words that characterise the new reality like a sponge. It reflects the new social and political reality, „making fashionable” certain words and expressions. And everything that is old and little relevant in the language is pushed to the background, ceases to be used frequently.

Language acts as a means of communication, being an extraordinary tool for the exchange of thoughts and emotions of its speakers. Besides, language as a code gives us an opportunity to get access to information from different sources, both modern and ancient.

We can start the course at any time that is convenient for you. We do not have to wait until the beginning of the school year or a new month.

It is up to you to choose the intensity of your learning process. My students usually choose to study twice or at least once a week.

Sure, you can choose a specialised Russian language course, for example, the language of business, trade, medicine, etc.

Lessons with Masha are no better or worse than reading books and watching movies in Russian. The difference is that in lessons we mostly speak, and therefore you develop the skill to express your thoughts in Russian, and not just passively assimilate information.

Honestly, if you are starting to learn Russian from scratch, you might consider finding a different teacher. I myself started learning English and Spanish with non-native speakers and I think it was the right choice. Why? Because such lessons are usually cheaper and a non-native speaker is able to explain a lot of things to you in your native language. But if you motivated to learn Russian with me, you are very welcome!
